The carpets in our three boys’ bedrooms had not been replaced for many years. They were worn and stained. One of the carpets was chewed away in the corner by an escaped pet hamster!

The boys, now teenagers. wanted a fresh, modern look to their bedrooms and chose the maple effect Quick•Step floor.

Expert Fitting

The new flooring was fitted over 2 days by the lovely Steve.  He arrived on the Thursday morning. Firstly he took up the carpet in the largest bedroom, leaving it tidily in front of the garage. He chopped up the larger carpet pieces so that it was easy to fit in the boot of our car and take to the tip.

Over the next few hours the floor was expertly fitted, with matching thresholds and beading. All the sawing was done on our driveway, so there was no dust or mess created in the house. By the end of the afternoon this bedroom had a beautiful new floor.

Next day, same again for the two smaller bedrooms. All completed by mid-afternoon with absolutely minimal disruption. All Steve needed was the occasional cup of tea!

As an added bonus it even encouraged the boys to get rid of a lot of stuff and to tidy their rooms! Result!
